Headaches

This image says “Tired of Those Headaches? Do you get them more frequently than you would like? How can TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) help?”

We have all experienced headaches in our lives. In fact, headaches are the most common form of pain and are a major reason cited for days missed at work or school. According to the International Classification of Headache Disorders, there are more than “150 types of primary and secondary headache disorders.” That number itself would give me a headache!

The most common type of primary headaches are tension-type headaches related to stress, depression, pain and anxiety. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine have been shown to be effective to treat all sorts of headaches. Here, I have shown an excellent acupuncture point that is known to be the “command point of the head and face” that helps reduce headache pain. Try pressing on this point the next time you have a mild headache. If you have migraines, then it is better to see your acupuncturist to see how they can help you.

So if you suffer from headaches, end now with acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Contact Araya Holistic Pain Management or email me with any questions regarding how TCM can help you stop your headaches!
